Coppull\u2019s Deborah Ford and Chloe Atkinson have been crowned winners of our first \u2018Let\u2019s Celebrate Coppull\u2019, photography competition.<\/p>\n

We joined forces with Coppull Parish Council in September to launch our new photography competition, with an adult\u2019s category and a special category for under 16\u2019s, \u2018Coppull through a child\u2019s eye\u2019.<\/p>\n

The 19 images in the final, were put to a public vote across our social media pages, and Nina Ascroft.<\/p>\n

Coppull\u2019s Debbie Day Care proprietor, Deborah Ford\u2019s photograph, \u2018Follow the Yellow Brick Road\u2019, was chosen as the adult winner for its composition and use of colour. The judges felt that it really had the feel-good factor.<\/p>\n

Deborah Ford said: \u201cI saw the Home Truths competition on Facebook and around Coppull.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am really delighted to win the competition. I live in Coppull and the countryside that surrounds it.\u00a0It\u2019s good to be able to portray the village in such a positive light.\u201d<\/p>\n

11-year-old, Chloe Atkinson\u2019s photograph, \u2018Blainscough Walk\u2019, was chosen as the winner in the \u2018Coppull Through a Child\u2019s Eye\u2019 category, for the atmosphere, energy, and sense of family it conveyed.<\/p>\n

Chloe Atkinson said: \u201cI entered this competition because I enjoy taking photographs and very proud!\u201d<\/p>\n

Home Truths Director, John Ascroft, said: \u201cWe have been overwhelmed by the response and even Father Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a tough decision to select just two winners, however, all the judges felt that both Deborah and we hope that they both continue to enjoy their passion for photography.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Home Truths and gift vouchers, awarded to them by Chorley Mayor Mark Perks.<\/p>\n
